This article is entirely devoted to the love of food and drink that which is halal, i.e. permissible

The love of food is the main reason for people to work. We work so we can fill our bellies and that of our families and the people in need.

Putting food on the table is the responsibility of the father, and the best cooks are those people that enjoy eating and feeding others. Cooking is a very enjoyable process, the enjoyment and time it takes to prepare a dish that has fine aromas and delicious flavours is a very pleasant and relaxing process.

The satisfied look on a persons face after a delicious meal brings contentment to those that prepare the food. The enjoyment of different regional dishes from around the world is a pleasure that a person loves to undertake. People have put together a wide range of combinations of different ingredients to make the most pleasant and fine flavours.
So what is food, it is provision given to man so that he can perform work, and work is what puts food on the table. This provision also known as rizq in Arabic is a blessing given to man from the Almighty Allah SWT. For it is the combination of the change of seasons, the conditions of the soil and the descent of water from the sky that produces crops for people and the means to support livestock. If Allah SWT was to withhold the rain or make the water recede into the ground than there is no power on earth that can provide you with the means to cultivate the land so that you can grow crops and feed your livestock. Allah SWT has made the perfect conditions that man has taken advantage of and innovated modern farming techniques that allow food to be produced and stored. If it were not for the grace and mercy of Allah SWT none of us would have the means to enjoy the variety of foods that end up on our table. That is why a muslim begins with the name of Allah before eating and finishes praising and thanking Allah for the food that has been given to them through the work of the person that puts food on the table.

Food is what sustains life, and is a treasure. The variety and different types of food that are available make life worth living. The taste of fruits fresh ripe and succulent takes away any pain that a person maybe feeling and cleanses the body from within.
