Inspired by Qur’an & Sunnah — cultivating earth, hearts, and the Hereafter
1) Tawheed (Oneness of Allah) — The First Seed
“Have you seen what you sow? Is it you who make it grow, or are We the Grower?” (Q 56:63–64)
- Plant with reliance on Allah, harvest with gratitude, sell with honesty.
2) Niyyah (Intention) — Fertilizer for the Soul
- Every halal task—ploughing, watering, trading—becomes worship if done for Allah.
- Intention × Action = Barakah².
3) Amanah (Trust) — Clean Inputs, Clean Outputs
- Pure seeds, fair weights, accurate labels, honest advisories.
- If the label lies, the land cries.
4) ‘Adl (Justice) — No Cheating the Soil or the Soul
- Don’t over-apply, over-pump, or over-charge. Balance is mercy; excess is harm.
5) Ihsan (Excellence) — Do It Right, Even Unseen
- Calibrate tools, test soil, time irrigation, rotate crops.
- Hidden roots decide visible fruits—same for deeds.
6) Rahmah (Mercy) — For Workers, Animals, Water, and Land
- Pay on time, provide safety, rest, shade, and fair breaks.
- Mercy to creation invites the Creator’s mercy.
7) Sabr & Shukr — Weather Any Weather
- Sabr in droughts, shukr in downpours.
- Storms pass; records remain.
8) Tazkiyah (Purification) — Keep Harm Out
- Weed sin like you weed fields. Small sins become thick thorns.
9) Knowledge & Measurement — Sunnah of Precision
- Test, record, compare. Guessing grows losses; knowledge grows yields.
10) Zakat & Sharing — The Crop That Follows You to the Grave
- Zakat purifies profit; sadaqah multiplies harvests you’ll see in the Hereafter.
MOTTO: “Sow truth. Water with mercy. Harvest barakah.”
Sector Add-Ons
A) For Agricultural Universities
- Lab to Land Pledge: “No paper yields—field yields only.”
- Ethics Module: Add “Honesty in Trials & Data” to every course.
- Research Formula: Benefit ÷ Harm ≥ 1, or the project fails—no matter the p-value.
- Humour line: “If your thesis needs Photoshop, your field needs istighfar.”
B) For Fertilizer & Agri-Input Companies
- Label Truth Oath: Nutrient % must match the bag, not the brochure.
- Dose Discipline: Rate × Timing × Placement × Safety = Barakah.
- After-Sales Sunnah: Advice farmers like you’d advise your father.
- Humour line: “Overdosing fertilizer is like overdosing salt—more isn’t tasty; it’s toxic.”
C) For Farm Houses & Growers
- Family Farm Charter: Fair wages, clean water, protective gear, prayer time.
- Soil is Amanah: Test yearly; treat erosion as theft.
- Water Justice: Share canals fairly; Allah sees night siphons.
- Humour line: “You can trick the scales, but you can’t trick the rain.”
The Dangers of Riba (Interest) — With Sensible Maths & Clean Humour
Golden Rule: Trade = multiplication with barakah. Riba = subtraction disguised as addition.
1) For a Person
- Math: Riba profit – Barakah = Net Loss (even if numbers rise).
- Effect: Anxiety, broken trust, du‘a not answered easily due to haram income.
- Image: “Riba is like watering crops with salty water—looks wet, kills roots.”
2) For a Company
- Math: Debt Ratio ↑ ⇒ Decision Quality ↓ ⇒ Resilience → 0.
- Effect: Chasing interest payments > serving customers; ethical corners cut.
- Image: “Riba turns CEOs into firefighters—always putting out cash fires, never planting forests.”
3) For an Institution (co-ops, universities, banks)
- Math: Interest Costs > Mission Spend = Mission Drift.
- Effect: Tuition hikes, farmer exploitation, biased research toward funders.
- Image: “An institution on riba is a clinic that sells sugar water as medicine.”
4) For a State
- Math: Compound Interest > Revenue Growth ⇒ Sovereignty ↓.
- Effect: Austerity on the poor, luxury for lenders; inequality entrenched.
- Image: “A state on riba is a tractor towing a mountain—engine screams, field stays barren.”
Qur’anic Warning (paraphrase): Allah permits trade and forbids riba (Q2:275); riba invites war from Allah and His Messenger (Q2:279).
Humour with bite: “Riba is a ‘get-poor-slow’ plan wearing a rich man’s tie.”
Quick “Field Math” Reminders (Sticker/Signboard Ready)
- “Gratitude × Honesty = Yield↑; Riba × Greed = Barakah↓.”
- “Right Input + Right Time + Right Intention = Right Harvest.”
- “Cheat once, lose trust twice.”
- “Soil needs microbes; hearts need dhikr.”
- “Weigh fairly: heavy scales today, light reckoning tomorrow.”
- “If sin is the weed, tawbah is the hoe.”
