For a community to thrive, it requires guidance from revelation. This is about revelation providing the necessary support and aspects as to how a community can thrive and live well for any people or group on Earth.
This guidance from revelation was sent to support the Jews, Bani Israel, and it is also a lesson, a moral lesson for any other group of people. The first criteria is Tawhid, monotheism. Strict adherence to monotheism. Having established and remaining steadfast with firm faith and belief in the Oneness of Allah.
Then, then after that is excellence towards parents, showing that the best treatment, love and support that can be provided to them particularly in their old age yet at any time of their lives they are shown kindness and mercy.
Closeness and a good behavior towards close relatives, meaning getting to know and supporting close relatives, your immediate and extended family and letting bonds of brotherhood and sisterhood be strongly maintained amongst them.
Then, supporting the orphans. The way is to get to know the community and to find how and where, what conditions the orphans are in and support them whether its providing financial assistance, medical aid or even beneficial knowledge for them to learn and live upon Islam.
Provide support to those in need, especially those who are struggling and in hardship from either financial or other difficulties, those people who are in genuine need of support because of life’s difficulties.
And speak good, beautiful words to the people, so that they can strive together and struggle in doing good deeds according to revelation, kind words to speaking well established goodwill and shows humbleness and respect for people.
Hold firm and pray your daily prayers, preferably in congregation, to bond the community in its brotherhood and sisterhood.
And pay the charity that is mandatory on excess wealth. The more you spend, the more goodwill and reward of purification of wealth and the removal of harmful aspects in your wealth and lives.
These are simple, straightforward measures that every person, if they establish within their personal lives starting from family and then the community, their people getting to know one another and improving the conditions of society for any group of people. This will bring in to their own lives a much better heavenly place, in which a good life will be lived away from the problems of social interaction and evils of society.

These eight pillars are of society are that which creates cohesion and goodness that causes a community and individuals to thrive and live a good and great life.
