The people of the book who are the Jews and the Christians that disbelieve in the words of the Quran, the clear proof from Allah and those that disbelieve from idol worshippers will not desist from disbelief until the clear proof comes to them. The Prophet Muhammad Peace be upon him recited these words of Allah that were directly revealed to him the unseen as pages from scrolls of utmost purity. These words are written down by noble honorable, obedient scribes the angels in purified pages. The Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him not knowing how to read or write spoke these words which were revealed to his heart.
The words of the Quran contain upright commandments these are moral lessons and rulings from it which are guidance from Allah SWT, and it was not until this Quran was revealed that the hew and Christians started to become divided about the prophethood of Muhammad peace be upon him. The Jews segregated into 71 sects because of their differences interpreted from the scripture that they changed with their own hands and similarly the Christians segregated into 72 sects also because of differing and changing the scripture with their own hands and the muslim ummah will segregate into 73 sects and all of them except for one will be in the hellfire not because the scripture has been changed but due to making the mistakes of the people of the book about differing upon the clear proof. The one saved sect is the majority of the ummah that follows the prophet Muhammad peace be upon him and what the companions were upon. So this includes the majority as the other sects are small and in minority and due to differing with each other have gone astray.
The disbelievers though commanded to worship only Allah with sincere devotion in all uprightness, establishing prayer and giving the alms tax of zakat refused to accept and believe even though this is the upright way. For this reason the people of the book the Jews and Christians that disbelieve and the idolators will be punished in the hellfire, wherein they will abide forever and due to their disbelief they are the worst of creation.
As for those who believe in Allah and work good righteousness Allah says they are the best of creation, this virtue is accessible to all of humanity yet most of humanity does not want to know, believe or do good.
Those that believe in Allah and do good, on the day of judgement will be rewarded by Allah with the gardens of paradise under which rivers flow and they will abide therein forever with no decrease and no conclusion, only enjoying and being well pleased with Allah and Allah will be well pleased with them so much so that will outweigh all the beauty, favours and blessings of paradise and this is for the people who will be in awe of Allah SWT.
