A person needs to seek refuge in Allah SWT from certain times of the day and night. Particularly when a person wakes up for fajr and finds themselves at the daybreak, then that person ought to seek refuge in Allah SWT from evil of hell, iblis and his progeny in other words the evil of everything that is in creation.
Allah SWT provides protection to the person with the words of the Quran from the two surahs Al Falq and An Naas. These words are the best protection against evil that is perpetrated by the devils from jinn, mankind particularly from amongst those that use black magic to harm or bring problems into the lives of people.
So when the daybreaks and when the sunsets and the evil of night as it spreads its darkness, then at these times a person should recite Al Falaq and An Naas three times each from protection from the evil of everything in creation.
The practicers of black magic blow onto knots and the jinn and humankind that has envy, jealousy and hate which stem from pride than their evil eyes or the evil of their enviers and jealous and hateful selves are only harmful to themselves and others of their own evil selves.
So the best protection is reciting the surahs Al Falaq and An Naas as Allahs sublime words provide the means to an individual to be protected from the harm and evil of these jinn and humankind that envy are jealous and are hateful.
A person is required to seek refuge in Allah SWT from the entire humankind that from them that tries to cause through insincerity and corruption with evil intent of some of them towards acting upon evil wicked deeds.
Allah SWT is the Lord, Master, Sovereign and God of all Humankind. These attributes in their collection are exclusively for only Allah as only Allah is the perfect Lord, King and God of the entire humankind. All creatures on earth are subservient to Allah SWT and everything of matter in creation is submitted to Allah SWT and only acts upon its nature that is coded within its genetic makeup.
Allah SWT informs the people of the evil whispers of the shayateen that stem from jinn, humans and other devils. They whisper into the hearts of humans and beautify evil wicked ways, actions and deeds to the person that when he acts upon these evil whispers, the devils withdraws knowing he has trapped a person into a sinful act in defiance and problematic way for the person, family or community which causes spread of corruption.
However when a person seeks refuge in Allah from the evil whispers of the shayateen, the devil knows that he will have to try some other method to cause the God fearing person to fall into sin as the objective of the shayateen is to mislead, misguide and turn people towards entering the hellfire.
It is only Allah SWT and the messengers the prophets upon all of them be peace that are calling people to that which is true, correct and towards the gardens of Jannah with Islam. This is the path of the Prophets of Allah upon them all be peace and this struggle is the guidance that humankind needs.
