There will come a time when the entire earth will shake and convulse all over. It will be such a great event that the earth shaking is a result of all the burdens it has undergone throughout history of entire mankind with what people have behaved upon it. This earth will be shaking in such a manner on the day of Judgement. It will bring out all of its contents meaning the people that are buried within it. Every single person from the first generation to the latter generations will be thrown out and the earth will relieve itself of this burden.
The people will be coming out of the earth from their graves awake alive and wondering what has caused them to be brought back to life. This is a promise from Allah SWT. The earth will also throw out its riches of gold and silver and people will declare that for such and such I committed murder, or my hand was amputated due to being a thief or I broke the ties of kinship for this wealth. Meaning the murderer, the thief, and those that break their ties of kinship will all declare their sins and no one will want anything of it anymore. These are just some of the examples of some of the sins that mankind will speak about and not only mankind but the earth will be commanded by Allah SWT to speak about all the sins, evil and misdeeds that mankind acted upon the earth.
This earth records and maintains information about every evil done upon it. Similarly it also records all information about what good was done by the people upon it. The earth itself will testify against every male and female person about what was done on its surface. It will be inspired by Allah SWT to speak of its burdens.
The people will be gathered in different groups upon this day the miserable will be separated from the happy, the people of paradise will be separated from the people of hellfire. The reason for this segregation is to show the people what they did of their deeds and these people will be compensated for the good or evil of their actions.
So even if an atoms or a speck of good is done by a person it will be brought out and presented to them similarly even if an atom or single speck of evil is done will be brought out and presented to the people. The example of understanding how an atoms weight of good and evil is brought out and presented is like the example of a person with three styles of looking after horses. The first style a person looks after the horses that are used for the purpose of jihad, the horses are allowed to pasture, looked after and each aspect of the horse that eats, drinks and works towards its purpose those aspects are a reward and counted as goodness for the owner. i.e. they are a reward for the person.
The second style of using horses to remain independent and maintain oneself and the person does not forget the right of Allah upon their necks and backs then for this person who refrains from begging and maintains independence with the use of horses than for such a person this is a shield for them. As for the third style of using horses if a person boasts, brags or shows off with regard to their horses then for those people it will be a burden for them on the day of Judgement.
The understanding of this is not merely in horses but can be applied to other aspects such as anything of use, intellect, conveyance or means by which a person who does an atoms weight of good or an atoms weight of evil will be brought out and shown to them for this is the promise of Allah SWT.
Do not underestimate any good or evil deeds and prevent evil even it is something minor or small as they collectively build up like sticks that can burn everything to the ground. In such a manner a person is destroyed even by numerous small little sins. So save yourself from the hellfire even if it is by giving away half a date.
