The Real National Treasure of Ireland
From the gift of god’s grace to the honored place with Allah
Sister Shuhada Sadaqat
A muslim was born and named Sinead
In the city of the island of Dublin where she was surrounded by water
A most beautiful child and the home she was nursed in
Can be found on Baggot Street
Named after the mother of her delivery doctor
A legend was amongst the people that would grow to adore her
She was 3 of 5 and a time when the good folk of this island
Knew that marriage and then generation upon propagation is fulfilling a sacred duty
Family life is the best life that an Irish can spawn
So she found herself in a house of worship
Where her mother said the best discount from this house
Is the five finger discount of the collection plate
If the discount was insufficient it resulted in a physical discipline
The art of battering and Im not speaking of Fridays lunch
A broken family from a tender young age
She belonged and yearned for her father
As teenage years were set upon
She found herself absent from her formal institute of education
The art of the five finger discount became second nature
Which led her to the Order of our Lady of Charity
A place that sounds good, but confined her free spirit
Joy writing became her inspiration that led to the tunes
She found her calling and individual purpose
Although allowed to write her way
When punishment was given it took her to that part of the asylum
Where the elders were moving on
The stench and the horror in darkness
Of bodily fluids led to panic, terror, agony and the beginning of her grief
This anguish would become part of her life
Her mother was on a collision course
That resulted on an icy road slip slide and demise
With the crush of the big bus
Sinead hadn’t even finished her certificate leaving behind
The Irish takeover by the Church
Her stance was that this disaster was the lesser
Of another evil
That staying under British rule may have been preferable
Although she said that we are no longer owned by Britain
As the war of independence that was fought many a generation ago
Was officially confirmed with the 2016 referendum
That Brexit was left and sent out to be officially out of state
Her faith kept her strong
From Islam to Christianity
She held a strong stance against the Catholic Church
Particularly against the prolific abuse of children by their priests
At an interview she found that to offend the Catholic Church
Was better than remaining silent
So she tore into Pope John Paul II
Declaring Fight the real enemy
Her state, her mind, troubled
Led to her diagnosis of bi polar
And then to a sickness that the cure has still not been found
A place of pain, tiredness and sleep disturbed
Unable to be fresh upon awakening
Pain and fatigue resulted in many visits
To rehabilitation for all the grief, suffering, anguish and misery
Only to realise towards the near death experience
That there is only One Allah
Returning to her initial innate disposition
The faith of all children
The place of submission to the will of the Creator of all that exists
She declared the call to prayer not to bring the faithful
To the masjid but to declare the Greatness of Allah
And bear witness, the testimony That there is no God worthy of worship except Allah
And to bear witness, the testimony that Muhammad Peace be upon him is the messenger and slave of Allah
She formally stated in a ceremony this declaration of faith
Reverting back to Islam
A lesson for all Irish people
That the forgivness and mercy of Allah is there for them all
That will lead them to the eternal gardens
Once the door has been crossed of the one true death
The afterlife is waiting for us all
She took the name Shuhada Sadaqat
Which means to witness and it is also a martyr
A most honored place with Allah
And truthful sincerity with voluntary acts of kindness and charity
So from her life of sorrow, grief, misery she finally found
Joy, peace, an honored place with the Almighty Allah and with truthful sincerity and kindness
She returned to Allah
Where we all are going
As death is closer than the time taken to complete a term
May Allah have mercy on sister Shuhada and let her
Life, legacy and lessons help the Irish to also
Learn and find the truth of the certainty of the Existence of Allah the majestic and sublime
So that they can save themselves and their families from the fire
Sister Shuhadas last few breaths were her most difficult
However a natural peaceful death was granted to her
As her heart and soul had finally found peace in Islam
And she yearned for the Eternal Gardens of Jannah
May Allah the majestic and sublime grant her a high station amongst the righteous, truthful and martyrs in Jannah
As only those forgiven rest in peace
As grief is like an uninvited house guest that shows up
Without warning, rearranges all your furniture
Eats your favourite snacks
And somehow finds a way to stay long after you thought it had left
The lesson is not to kick it out but to learn how to love deeply once again
As sister Shuhada found that loving Allah deeply
She found forgiveness and mercy and left behind
A legacy for all Irish people
That this national treasure left the most valuable
Gift, knowledge and lesson that
Nothing compares to you
