The night as it spreads out over the horizon when the sun has dipped below, it covers the entire landscape. Allah SWT mentions the night as how it makes the change in the environment towards the close of the day with the brightness of the sun being taken away and what is left is a way in which a person needs to seek the light within themselves and the use of that which they can observe the conditions of the darkness that has spread over the land.
It is required that a person illuminates their heart with sincere words that bring about luminosity to within the persons being seeking refuge in Allah SWT from when the darkness spreads so does evil amongst the people. It is known that the ends that people strive for are diverse, they choose different paths within their places and seek to obtain different forms of means by which to sustain their purpose. The different ways that people strive for are between doing that which is good and obtaining beneficial aspects of living through their ways and then there are those that act upon evil and obtain harm for themselves and those within their paths. The different diverse ways that people move about and seek for whatever reason they choose whether it is good or evil is entirely dependent upon the nature of the what is within the hearts of humans.
Those that give from what they have meaning are charitable and mindful of Allah SWT and have Taqwa meaning they enjoin good and forbid what is evil and they fear Allah SWT in their daily wordly affairs as they travel through their lives and they expect Al Husna meaning the reward from only Allah SWT then Allah SWT facilitates for them out of every hardship towards ease. Understanding these conditions is important to know that giving from what a person has is not just an advice or a suggestion but one can say it is a command that being charitable and mindful by first looking after ones family and then those in the community and within this scope they have taqwa while being fearful of Allah SWT as they are very keen to ensure that nothing they do causes Allah SWT to be angry or displeased with their actions. Expecting the reward from Allah SWT is a criteria that a person is supposed to have as if one was to work within the scope of Islamic activities than seeking reward brings hope to the soul of a person as Allah SWT does not left efforts made go in vain. Whereas seeking wordly reward from people will only bring a small fraction of benefit and the reward with Allah SWT is much greater and a great triumph.
Similarly those people that are stingy and neglectful and think themselves self sufficient that they are in no need of Allah SWT and that they can rely upon themselves only or their ways, it will narrow and bring constriction of difficulties within their lives particularly with hardships and frustrations within the work and life that they go about living. A person is entirely dependent upon Allah SWT, every person every living creature is in need of Allah SWT and only Allah SWT is free from any need. One can ask and seek self sufficiency from Allah SWT, it however is entirely upon the individual to be independent yet seek help only from Allah and work within their scope and perform those duties themselves not letting others do the work for them other than what is needed in the form of expertise and it is well known that self help is the best way towards independence and self sufficiency with reliance upon only Allah SWT.
As Allah SWT wills then a person can will with the drive within their life that makes them seek what they need to do to obtain that which is beneficial and bring about change within themselves to allow the help of Allah which is very close and the requirement for this is that it stems from the heart of the person and that the person must strive towards goodness, giving, being mindful of Allah and seeking the reward from Allah. For those that do not seek the reward from Allah are indifferent from Allah and are miserly and stingy and they staunchly deny the finest reward from Allah then Allah SWT facilitates the way of evil and abandonment for them within what they intend with their actions that are based on these criteria.
Allah SWT provides goodness and success to those that intend good within their lives and similarly those people that intend evil and indifference towards Allah not seeking any reward form Allah then they are abandoned and left to wander blindly within the realms of the earth being neglectful and having a life full of difficulty and hardship and all of this is preordained and part of the decree of Allah.
So seek to intend good, be mindful and charitable with Allah, fearing Allah and having taqwa with expecting the finest reward only from Allah and Allah will facilitate the person with goodness in the form of a removing difficulties and hardships and facilitating the way of ease. So when the night spreads out seek to praise and thank Allah SWT for most of the evil is done within the darkness and the light of the Quran is the light of the heart of the person that needs these divine words to illuminate it within the darkness of the night.
