This requires heartful words particularly found in Surah Buruj, Surah Ikhlas and Surah Ash Sharh
Todays entrance to Quba masjid was just enough time for me to seek certain duas and make it to the front row so that I could ask Allah for the beneficial knowledge. The recitation of todays surahs three in number after the obligatory fatiha presented a man that had a beautifully haunting voice that reminded me that this gentleman has had a noble yet difficult life and at this age, his voice is still beautifully fearful of Allah.
He sounded the phonetics at a pace that its meant to be, he recited surah buruj and the reminder of how the people of Jannah will have water flowing beneath their homes from rivers that do not require the means such as what we have on this earth in the form of pipes and tubes that provide water to our homes.
This is a river of Jannah that will flow to, beneath and around the homes in such a way that it will be easily accessible, delightful and also incredibly beautiful at the waters appearance, and the way it travels around and under the homes. This will not cause any structural integrity of the homes of Jannah to be compromised.
It also reminds me that anyone who makes it to Jannah will have these home and that is the mighty or great successful waterfront and magnificent homes that will make the person think he has the greatest and best home in the gardens.
Perhaps even taking a dip into these waters or tasting its wonderful cool refreshing state of rejuvenating and beautifying will make the person remember that there is no need for fasting or praying even though the person will want to and will praise only Allah for this magnificent gift that makes them think, the time on earth was only an hour ago or less.
The other ayat that resonated in my heart and made it tremble at the sound of the gentlemans voice was that Allah is most forgiving and the most loving, this is related to the fact that humans keep making mistakes daily no matter where they are as most don’t even know the mistakes they are making due to having only a drop of knowledge as compared to the knowledge of the Quran and Allah which has more depth and quantifiable measure than the entire oceans whether at a macro or quantum level the perception of this entire knowledge is only attributable to the all knowing the creator Allah SWT.
Perhaps the reason why Allah is so forgiving to people is that the people realise how little they know that when it is acknowledged that a person will be slightly more knowledgeable the next day is entirely only comparable to a few more drops of water just like the vast ocean of knowledge that is found in the entire heavens and earth having the level of understanding that it takes certain words to unlock this knowledge which provides wonder and incredible joyful and loving experience that the most loving Allah SWT has as much love as the expanse of the entire heavens and earth, and that even then all this forgiveness and love that Allah has is like a drop of water. While people are only comparable to a few drops of water in their love for this creation that they may be able to capture on their fingertips when dipped in the ocean.
The gentleman also recited surah tariq and surah ikhlas which almost brought me to tears yet made me feel complete and entirely in awe and wonder at these words that I was at a certain level of realising that the gentlemans voice is how I usually feel most days.
He then after finishing the fajr congregational prayer spent a few moments reflecting on the remembrance and magnificence of Allah SWT before he spoke about two ahadith that were about how this way of life of Islam brings people families together and has more influence and understanding that people of tawhid are closer than even those in a family that maybe forgetting their own responsibilities or maybe distracted by the dunya.
So the imam the gentleman provided such beautiful words that this way of life is what brings the people not only together but also wherever they are on earth they recognize one muslim to another that this is the same brother as someone from another mother. Anyway the gentleman reminded me that islam is perfect while the muslims are still fighting daily trying to understand why this life is so difficult.
And then the imam finally finished with a beautiful ahadith that a muslim is one whose spoken word and actions via his hands another person is safe from. This is a constant reminder to the people that words and those actions that follow it have the power to bring people together and enjoy the life with making people realise that laughter and decent honest jokes and good words that do not mock or hurt followed by actions that do not harm another person. This takes a control of the self like the grip of a person that can crush stones with his hands and also requires a person to master and defeat their selves so that they can overwhelmingly have their soul inspired hearts from Allah forgive and love and also perfect the trade skill or any of those skills that require a person to become someone with precision proficient excellence in their skills with regards to their spoken words and their actions.
