Tawakal Allah and Taqwa are part of knowing and obtaining that which is permissible, halal and avoiding that which is haram or impermissible.
The ayat of trust and rizq that is most well known amongst the believers talks about how a person is given resources or provision from places where he can never imagine. It is certainly when a person places trust in Allah (Tawakal) than they will find that Allah is sufficient for them as Allahs will is achieved, there is no doubt as to the certainty that is present within the will of Allah. And whatever Allah wills that is achieved.
A person has to place trust in Allah and that is beloved to Allah when someone goes out into the world or even if the entire world comes to him than through people and from places you cannot imagine resources and provision is provided even just like when the birds go out every morning and place their trust in Allah with empty bellies and return to nest at evening with full bellies sustenance provision provided to them by Allah from the earth.
Even the birds do not know where they will get their provision from yet they trust Allah and seek the provision by going out into the world and finding what they need to survive. They also enjoin amongst each other the remembrance of Allah just like the way they spend their time chirping away seeking to make the wonder and thanks the gratitude and greatness of Allah that they are seeking to remember how Allah is free from all imperfection and the magnitude of Allahs greatness is expressed by them day and night.
Those that place their trust in Allah will find that no one needs to ask any person for help and only to ask Allah SWT the means to achieve whatever difficulty they maybe in and Allah will find a way out for them particularly for those that have complete trust and faith in Allah SWT.
Tawakul also has an aspect with it that with Taqwa, enjoining what is good and forbidding what is evil then Allah will bring justice and a way out of each difficulty with providing for the person with resources from unknown sources as Allah is the one that is in control of all resources giving to whom He wills and depriving from whom He wills.
Another aspect that a person will find is that those that have tawakal and taqwa in Allah will at the time of death find a way out from every doubt and every horror as their soul departs their body. This is why we say we place our trust in Allah and Allah is sufficient for us. This will determine every possible way out of any difficulty even the difficulty of death pangs and that with certainty Allah will decree that the person dies upon the faith of islam.
The decree or the destiny of everything has already been set, willed and written by Allah SWT. Everything has been given its due measure the destiny has already been set. This is something that we believe as part of the Qadr of Allah the divine decree. What this also means is that every person has been given their due measure of life, breath, steps, provision everything encompassing their life upon earth and it can neither be changed unless if Allah SWT wills.
It is clear and apparent that nothing is hidden from the All-knowing Allah SWT, therefore place trust in Allah as you will find this sufficient as Allah as a trustee for those that have tawakal and taqwa complete trust in Allah for all of their affairs upon the worldly matters that are out of control. This is part of the surrender a person has and gives only to Allah SWT.
We place our trust in Allah and sufficient is Allah for us. As it is clear Allah is the One who provides for every living creature upon earth with its due measure, it’s time for breakfast soon so I must depart for Prayer first as it is fajr upon us at this due time and inshaAllah upon return breakfast will be ready after an hour of working out.
