In the name of Allah the most beneficent the most merciful
The sky is a perfect creation of Allah, there are no cracks or fissures in the sky. When the vision is raised towards the sky it is returned humbled from looking at the awesomeness of Allahs creation. The sky protects the earth from the harmful cosmic rays of the sun and the universe, it acts as a barrier and shield towards these harmful elements.
One day the sky will be rent asunder, it will break open and tear itself up, this will be on the commencement of the destruction of the earth with the beginning of judgement day. This will be a most difficult day causing chaos and destruction to the fabric of reality that man can see. The death of the entire biodiversity in particular the conclusion to man’s story on this earth will occur. The trumpet will be blown to commence the destruction and then after a time it will be blown again to resurrect the entire human race from the beginning of the first man Adam AS to the last people on earth.
Judgement will commence when Allah chooses the exact time for the accountability of each person’s deeds and actions. The last ummah, the ummah of Prophet Muhammad PBUH will be the first to have their reckoning and accountability determined, then each preceding ummah will be judged in similar fashion.
The breaking of the sky is a tremendous event and it takes an immense power, the power of Allah SWT to render it apart. Just as Allah is holding the entire creation together with His will and force, Allah will one day tear the sky into pieces upon the destruction of the earth. This is inevitable as everything that has a beginning comes to an end except for Allah who has no beginning and no end. Allah the eternal, the Almighty, the One is alone in His magnificence and might. Allah is the greatest, the ever living.
The knowledge of when the commencement of Judgement Day has been kept hidden from all creation. Only Allah alone knows when this day will begin. People see this as far away, however Allah SWT sees it as very close. Upon death the minor judgement occurs and then the dead will be in a state of waiting, in the barzakh world and will finally be resurrected to face accountability. Many doomsayers have tried to predict the end of the world, but they have all been incorrect in their prediction, as mentioned only Allah knows the date of the beginning of Judgement Day.
This life is short, fleeting and momentary, a temporary stage prior to the beginning of immortality which will be attained after death. Many people have been led astray by the attraction and glamour of this world, for if they knew the truth about the reality of this world, that it is worthless, worth less than the wing of a mosquito and worth less than a rotting carcass. They would seek to understand that life in the hereafter is much more rewarding but for this they need to first understand that there is going to be a resurrection and a hereafter in which man’s destiny will be met with one of two choices. One choice is the world of Jahannam where every evil disbelieving sinner will fall into or the other choice is the world of Jannah where every good believing person will enter.
The true sound faith that every person is born on is Islam. That is why people can recognize the existence of a single deity, a creator that brought everything into existence. The true sound faith is a gift from Allah SWT to his servants and is the most valuable matter that a person can possess. Imaan faith and belief in Allah is the main criteria for understanding the true sound faith. It is like the electrical current, where it provides the means to allow light bulbs to function and the fans to rotate. Without this current the light bulb does not shine and neither does the fan work. And just as the current can dim causing only a faint glow from the light bulb, Imaan belief is similar that it can fade, be renewed working optimally or there can be an absence of it. Just as the light bulb cannot function without the electrical current similarly man cannot perform his true purpose without imaan, belief, the true sound faith. It is the shaitan that leads people away from this true sound faith and causes much confusion and error in a person’s life. That is why it is essential for every person to seek knowledge of Allah SWT and learn about Islam.
